A Floral Focus

Nathalie Lees, the London-based artist renowned for her striking illustrations, is back with another stunning cover for SPHERE. What makes our covers stand out? Well, for one, they’re always wraparound, and two, they’re always illustrated—transforming each issue into a timeless piece of art for your coffee table. It also gives us the chance to spotlight talented artists with every release. This isn’t Nathalie’s first rodeo with a SPHERE cover, it’s her third. For this issue, she’s brought to life a raven-haired woman shading herself with a billowing poppy as she sits in a blooming field, surrounded by fluttering butterflies and flowers in shades of pink, red, and white. Subtle hints of Cole & Son’s Acanthus pattern are woven into the fabric of her dress in Stately Home Red. On the back, you can see a copy of SPHERE floating in the air—quick, don’t let it escape!
