SUSHISAMBA’s Carnaval Weekender brings Brazil’s vibrant energy to Covent Garden and Heron Tower. Experience exquisite sushi, refreshing caipirinhas, and samba rhythms, all in a lively carnaval atmosphere. A true celebration of Brazil’s flavours, music, and culture pulsing through the capital.


With three days of non-stop action, expect samba dancers shaking it to the rhythm of booming batucada drummers and DJs spinning the best Latin beats. The air will be alive with infectious energy, complemented by a specially curated Carnaval-inspired menu and ice-cold caipirinhas to keep the party going strong.

A Taste of Brazil: SUSHISAMBA’s Limited-Edition Menu

The Taste of Carnaval menu is a true feast for the senses. Available from 28th February to 8th March, this multi-course selection of dishes is designed to transport you straight to Brazil. Highlights include Pão de Queijo (cheese bread) with truffle butter, crispy Bolinho de Bacalhau (black cod doughnuts) with squid ink aioli, and a mouthwatering Churrasco Ribeye with traditional feijoada (a Brazilian black bean stew). For sushi lovers likely already keen on SUSHISAMBA's usual offering, the Bossa Nova Roll with crispy soft-shell crab, seared wagyu, and chestnuts will surely be a must-try, and the Banana Leaf-Baked Sea Bass as flavourful main deisgned to flake to perfection. And dessert, a Brazilian Chocolate Mousse with pink peppercorn sponge cake and orange ice cream will leave your taste buds dancing the salsa.

Keep the Carnaval Going, After Dark

Friday, 28th February kicks off the celebration with vibrant performances at SUSHISAMBA Heron Tower and SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden, running from 7pm to 10:30pm. Continuing the party until late is SUSHISAMBA's Heroon Tower lounge area, SAMBAROOM with the Carnaval-inspired Friday Sessions, running from 10:30pm to 3:00am. Brazilian DJs will be spinning tracks while samba dancers keep the energy high and the celebration going all night.
Saturday, 1st March, the energy shifts into high gear with Rio After Dark at SAMBAROOM, from 10:30pm to 3:00am. It’s time to let loose and experience Brazil’s famous nightlife scene in full swing.
The Grand Finale: Bossa Nova Brunch

After two nights of pulsating rhythms and samba fever, wind down with the Bossa Nova Brunch on Sunday, 2nd March, from 12pm to 4pm. It’s the perfect way to end the weekender—enjoy a laidback, elegant brunch featuring the Taste of Carnaval menu, paired with a four-piece band playing mellow yet lively Bossa Nova tunes. Relax, sip on a caipirinha, and bask in the afterglow of an invigorating Carnaval weekend.
