This Sunday fans of the ever iconic River Cafe restaurant are in for a totally delicious, and personal, treat as Ruth Rogers CBE is co-hosting a family style lunch at Fortnum & Mason’s new Field restaurant with her executive chef Sian Wyn Owen.
The cutest thing about Ruth Roger’s event, though, is children are heartily encouraged to come along and get involved, making a perfect half-term diversion.
The lunch, taking place Sunday 23rd october, at 12.30 also kicks off Behind the Pages, a supper club series hosted by Fortnum & Mason, highlighting the most revered chefs and authors in the British food industry while honouring seasonal produce from small-scale growers.
Sabrina Ghayour and Romy Gill will follow in the series, showcasing recipes from the pages of their upcoming cookbooks, Persiana Everyday and On the Himalayan Trail too.
