24th January 2025
LVMH Watch Week 2025 has wrapped up in New York and packed its timepieces safely for the next leg in Paris. Before the watches touch down on European soil, we take a closer look at the standout horological gems that caught everyone's eye in Manhattan.
LVMH Watch Week 2025 has wrapped, but its impact is still ticking. The exclusive event took over New York City, with the heart of the action centered at Tiffany’s iconic flagship, The Landmark on 5th Avenue, along with nearby Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari stores. These legendary locations set the stage for a showcase of timepieces that were as much about artistry as they were about innovation.
From intricate designs to groundbreaking materials, the week revealed watches that pushed the boundaries of craftsmanship. Now that the dust has settled, we’re diving into the standout pieces that made their mark in Manhattan. Whether it’s the bold precision of a TAG Heuer or the innovative materials from Hublot, let’s take a closer look at the pieces that had everyone talking.
Tiffany & Co - Carat 128 Aquamarine and Eternity Wisteria
Tiffany & Co. stole the spotlight at LVMH Watch Week, masterfully fusing high jewellery with watchmaking excellence. The stunning Eternity by Tiffany Wisteria watch made its grand debut, paying homage to Tiffany's rich horological legacy and the iconic Wisteria lamp designed by Tiffany Studios in the early 20th century.
Inspired by the lamp’s cascading floral motifs, the watch features a vivid, plique-à-jour enamel dial—an ancient technique where transparent enamel is suspended within small metal cells—capturing the delicate beauty of wisteria blossoms. Set with 709 diamonds, including 12 uniquely cut stones marking each hour, this timepiece is a masterpiece. The 627 snow-set diamonds on the case and the crown, inspired by the iconic Tiffany® Setting, add over 5 carats of brilliance. The meticulous process required over 150 hours of craftsmanship, with 80 hours dedicated solely to hand-enamelling the dial. Limited in production, this watch is more than a timekeeper—it’s a wearable tribute to Tiffany’s origins and the timeless beauty of the Wisteria lamp.
But Tiffany didn’t stop there. The Carat 128 Aquamarine watch, a geometric marvel, dazzled with 897 diamond and a 34.52-carat diamond-cut aquamarine dial. With over 28 carats of diamonds, every prong and facet is meticulously crafted over a 315 hour process to maximise brilliance. When you’re looking through a glistening diamond-cut aquamarine stone to check the time, you’re not just checking the hour—you’re basking in luxury.

Hublot - Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM
Channelling the energy of Power Rangers with its semi-transparent green casing and rubber strap, Hublot’s Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green is a statement of innovation—and it’s all about the green. Why green, you ask? Because it symbolises hope, growth, and a forward-looking future—values that this watch reflects through its groundbreaking materials. Enter SAXEM, a crystalline composite originally developed for satellite technology, now making its debut in horology.
A fusion of sapphire, aluminium oxide, and rare earth minerals, SAXEM boasts a unique cubic structure that mirrors sapphire's transparency but with an entirely new molecular twist. Inside this striking green case, the MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon calibre takes centre stage, with its 22-karat gold micro-rotor at 12 o’clock and a mesmerising 60-second tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The black-toned movement contrasts beautifully with the green, while three sapphire bridges lay bare the mechanical artistry beneath. Enhanced with bright green Super-LumiNova, the dial features alternating Arabic numerals and baton markers, and hand-finished details elevate it into haute horlogerie territory. The Big Bang was the beginning of time—this watch marks the beginning of a new era in watchmaking materials.

Zenith - DEFY Skyline Chronograph Skeleton
Blue is the new black—at least when it comes to the Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton, a skeletonised version of the original Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph. Meaning that the inner workings of the watch are exposed. Turn the watch over, and you’ll see something truly stellar: the star-shaped oscillating weight on the back of the watch, a signature touch that catches light and adds a whole new dimension to the design. Though the watch comes in black and blue, the oscillating weight in a cobalt blue shade is particularly striking.
Inside, the El Primero 3600 movement—already legendary for its ability to measure 1/10th of a second—takes centre stage, visible through both the front and back of the skeletonized dial. The geometric cut-outs on the dial pay homage to the iconic ZENITH double Z logo, while the 42mm octagonal steel case with alternating brushed and polished surfaces adds an architectural flair. Whether you’re admiring the star-patterned rubber strap or the striking blue open worked components, this watch is a dynamic balance of form and function, with 10 ATM water resistance and an impressive 60-hour power reserve to boot. Performance meets artistry, and with its interchangeable straps, the DEFY Skyline Chronograph lets you change your look as fast as it measures time.
