The Leica Store Harrods will showcase a selection of photographs taken by British photographer, Terry O’Neill CBE. Collaborating with Iconic Images, the exhibition comprises of ten photographs spanning his career - with colour and black and white works ranging from fashion and candid celebrity moments to capturing stars on set.
O’Neill’s first professional job was to photograph Laurence Olivier and during the 1960s he captured the likes of Judy Garland, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Winston Churchill.
One of the world’s most collected photographers, with work hanging in national art galleries and private collections worldwide, other subjects of his include Nelson Mandela, Frank Sinatra and Elvis, to Amy Winehouse, Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and every James Bond from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig.
Terry O’Neill had a strong connection to Leica having used various models throughout his career and subsequently collaborated on a ‘Terry O’Neill’ limited edition Leica MP camera set in 2018.
All prints in the exhibition are for sale with a starting price of £3,000.
The exhibition will take place from 8th of May 2022 at Leica Store Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, London, SW1X 7XL.
