Celebrating 10 years of Jaguar’s iconic XF saloon, the luxury and sports car manufacturer recently unveiled the brand new Jaguar XF Sportbrake to the world in London. As Jaguar has been the official Car of The Championships, Wimbledon for the past three years, the occasion was marked with a tennis-themed global reveal, complete with top tennis player Andy Murray pulling the covers off the sleek estate in a replica Centre Court.

Ahead of this year’s The Championships, Wimbledon, world tennis number one Andy Murray unveiled the latest addition to the Jaguar car family
With 2017’s Wimbledon tournament mere weeks away, Murray also took the opportunity to warm up his game at the event, hitting the court in a light-hearted celebrity doubles challenge alongside World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Anthony Joshua, and comedians Rob Brydon and Jimmy Carr.
At the conclusion of the adrenaline-fuelled match, Murray donated his 2016 Wimbledon men’s singles trophy to go on a nationwide tour of schools and clubs – travelling in style in the Jaguar XF Sportbrake, naturally – in the hope of inspiring people to get into tennis themselves. Though the reigning champ admitted, “Letting go of the trophy [would] be difficult”, he added, “there’s no better vehicle to take it on this tour.”
A sister model to the award-winning XF saloon, the XF Sportbrake offers passengers more space whilst harnessing the power to go from 0 to 60mph in a speedy 6.1 seconds. Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum assets that the “grace, pace and space the iconic Jaguar posters of the 1950s promised” are back, complete with top-end sports car performance and a “fast, sweeping silhouette.”
