The first trailer for upcoming documentary series ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ has just been released
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney bought Wrexham A.F.C in 2020, with great fanfare, and the series charts the duo’s attempts to turn the team’s chances around.
Reynolds and McElhenney made several pledges when they took over the club; to protect the heritage of Wrexham AFC and the Racecourse Ground, to reinforce the club’s values, to use their resources to grow the exposure of the club and reward the faith of the supporters.
Wrexham suffered a 5-4 defeat against Grimsby Town in an epic play-off semi-final in May which scuppered their dreams of promotion to EFL League 2.
